stoneware. Repeating arch stamp, and repeating x motif stamp on rim. Matt ash glaze, with wild clay and cobalt glaze (blue) dotted on rim. Melted ash. Lots of toasty colour variations throughout.
Fired to cone 12.
This piece is one of a kind, just like every item that comes out of the wood kiln. Even using the same making technique and glaze will have different results based on placement in the kiln. Nothing can really be duplicated.
