My name is Catherine Parent-Gibbard, and I am obsessed with pots.
I have always loved making things, for as long as I can remember. My love of art and creating things drove me to a career as a graphic designer, but I always longed to make things with my hands.
For a long time I thought about taking ceramic classes to learn how to make pottery myself. In 2014, I finally took a hand building class, and I was hooked. My passion was lit and I knew I didn't want to stop making pottery and learning everything about this beautiful craft. Hopefully my love of the medium and material comes through in my work.
I am now working in my pottery studio full time, and am able to dedicate myself to my ceramic work completely. I love being able to make things with my hands for people who love handcrafted things.
