Slab built out of a dark brown clay and stamped with handmade stamp rollers. After having assembled them and attached the handle I pour coloured slip over the mug. The patterned texture and dark clay peaks through the slip and creates a lot of depth and interest in the surface. Finished with a glossy clear glaze for easy cleaning.
Handmade from stoneware, fired to cone 6. Lead-free, dishwasher safe.
*you can put this mug in the microwave but the dark clay gets very hot so I recommend using a dishcloth to remove it so you don't burn yourself.
