Handmade and handpainted bowl. Low and wide this is a great spape for a big comforting bowl of pasta or soup.
Each bowl is handmade from a brown speckled stoneware clay. Made from a rolled out slab of clay, it is draped over a bisque mold I made for this purpose. Smoothed and shaped and then trimmed. After the first bisque firing I apply a bisque slip and then handpaint the motifs that are reminiscent of a table cloth you would place down on the grass in the park to have a picnic, or maybe curtains hanging in your grandma's kitchen <3
These bowls were all fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Lead free, food safe.
