Handmade and handpainted side plate. Perfect for toast or cake

Each plate is handmade from a brown speckled stoneware clay. Made from a rolled out slab, pinched and formed and then trimmed. After the first bisque firing I apply a bisque slip and then handpaint the motifs that are reminiscent of a table cloth you would place down on the grass in the park to have a picnic, or maybe curtains hanging in your grandma's kitchen.

The plates are all fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Lead free, food safe.
